In such conditions we are so much better protected at Berry Head (why I went there that day), as it enables you to focus more on watching than turning your brolly from in side out and cleaning optics! If someone had got to the Prawle hut for the morning they would have done really well, so much better shelter than Start in a southerly. We got Devon's 1st Fea's on a southerly at Prawle after all! Brilliant seawatching so far this summer personally seen 186 Cory's and 123 Greats and hopefully that will be added to!!! A great day last Friday, amazing the number seen from Torcross as well. Guess Pat stole the show with the Madeiran Petrel sp. at Prawle. Here's to some more great days to come this autumn.
Perry Sandershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17899817449346677903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8962002160194847863.post-78683531225636340022017-07-26T11:23:31.521+01:002017-07-26T11:23:31.521+01:00Great Post Perry, I hope you were a exaggerating m...Great Post Perry, I hope you were a exaggerating my response to your call, and I didn't sound unimpressed when you phoned - any big Shearwater sighting in Devon is brilliant. look forward to more regular postings as the autumn progresses.
Mike Langmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10769021137483993740noreply@blogger.com
